Koror, Airai get largest payouts from $432,816 total

KOROR, Palau (Island Times, August 5, 2013) – All 16 states of Palau yesterday received its share in fishing revenue for two quarters this fiscal year during a meeting between all members of the House of Delegates, some senators and Executive Branch officials and the governors.
The fishing revenue distributed by Finance Min. Elbuchel Sadang and Presidential Chief of Staff Secilil Eldebechel to each of the 16 states totaled $432,816.
The amounts received by each state were as follows: $19,575 to Aimeliik; $38,399 to Airai; $19,959 to Angaur; $17,841 to Hatohobei; $18,946 to Kayangel; $114,774 to Koror; $20,504 to Melekeok; $21,962 to Ngaraard; $21,248 to Ngarchelong; $18,777 to Ngardmau; $19,936 to Ngaremlengui; $21,064 to Ngatpang; $19,453 to Ngchesar; $19,215 to Ngiwal; $22,890 to Peleliu; and $18,271 to Sonsorol.
