ROTA’S AIRPORT TERMINAL IS TOPS

ROTA. Northern Mariana Islands (January 27, 2000 – Saipan Tribune)---If you do business in the CNMI, you probably spend a bit of time in airplanes and in the commuter air terminals in Saipan, Rota, Tinian, and Guam.
The best terminal of the bunch is definitely Rota's. It’s pleasing to the eye, comfortable, very, very clean, has a friendly staff, and it boasts a nice restaurant.
It also has a couple of stands where local produce (taro, yams, and such) can be bought. That's a clever way to allow the local farmers to participate in the flux of tourism activity moving through the island.
And there is certainly a flux of tourists going to Rota. From the looks of it, Japanese visitors are often taking day trips there. But Asian visitors aren't the only ones enthralled with Rota's beauty. Pacific Island Aviation ran a successful Rota promotion out of Guam...
