HONIARA, Solomon Islands (June 28, 2011) – In the Solomons this week the country is hosting a number of events and high profile visits.
This includes the health ministers meeting, ombudsman conference, the visit by the US Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Kurt Campbell, a climate change meeting and other meetings which we are unable to name.
There have been a number meetings and visit recently such as the Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) police conference and the visit by New Zealand Foreign Affairs Minister.
This week the country is again play host to a number of meetings and visits.
This is indeed a proud thing for the country which had continued to recover from the ordeal of the ethnic crisis.
As such the country should make welcome the presence of our visitors.
The country is happy to host such important occasions in our country.
