4 guns, improvised explosive found in Agana Heights residence

TÃA, Guam (Pacific Daily News, March 26, 2013) – Federal agents and local police who raided a convicted drug user's home in Agana Heights over the weekend found drugs, concealed firearms and an improvised explosive device, local police and documents filed in the U.S. District Court of Guam state.
Daniel Untalan Mesa was arrested Friday and charged in a federal complaint Saturday with "felon in possession of firearms."
Mesa said he had acquired firearms "through trading of methamphetamine ... in the past," the federal complaint states.
Approximately 15 grams of alleged crystal methamphetamine, with an estimated value of $12,000, were found at the house, police spokesman Officer A.J. Balajadia confirmed yesterday.
The raid was a joint effort between the Guam Police Department and federal authorities, Balajadia said.
