Third locally-owned operator bringing in two planes from U.S.

APIA, Samoa (Samoa Observer, Feb. 2, 2016) – For air travelers in Samoa and the Pacific, the choices and options have just improved.
A new airline, Talofa Airways Limited (TAL) has not backed off from its plan to be the third locally-operated airline.
And to show they really mean business, the company is in the process of bringing in two Twin Commander aeroplanes from the United States.
During an interview with the Samoa Observer yesterday, former Chief Executive Officer of Polynesian Airlines, Taua Fatu Tielu confirmed the new aircraft. Taua is involved in the new airline’s operations.
"Jeffrey is in the United States to get the Twin Commanders," said Taua.
