Loan payments deferred, fees waived
AUCKLAND, New Zealand (Taimi o Tonga, Feb. 23, 2012) - ANZ announced on Tuesday their assistance package for customers affected by flooding as a result of Cyclone Jasmine.
Acting ANZ CEO Tonga, Dennis Quayle said, "With the extreme rainfall last week, it’s especially important that the community gets the support it needs."
"The floods have had a very real impact on many of our customers, especially customers whose houses are situated in low lying areas of Tongatapu . We hope that this banking assistance package provide some relief to help the community in their recover efforts," Mr. Quayle said.
