AIR PACIFIC BEGINS NADI-HONOLULU SERVICE OCTOBER 27

HONOLULU, Hawaii (October 21, 1997 - PIDP/CPIS)---Fiji's international airline, Air Pacific, will begin weekly nonstop air service between Nadi and Honolulu October 27 on wide-body Boeing 767 aircraft.

The Hawaii flight increases Air Pacific's service to the United States to four each week. The three other flights serve Los Angeles.

Round-trip seats on the inaugural Honolulu-Nadi flight are being offered in Honolulu at the bargain rate of $US399, with children flying free with each paying fare.

For Hawaii passengers, Air Pacific will provide convenient connections in Nadi to Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, and Vanuatu.
