HONIARA, Solomon Islands (December 17, 1997 - PACNEWS)---Two people are in police custody in connection with the fire that destroyed the Solomon Islands government's Ministry of Finance building in Honiara.

Police Commissioner Frank Short has confirmed that the two people have not been charged but are helping the police with their inquiries into the incident.
