NEW AIRLINE TO SERVE SOLOMON ISLANDS - AUSTRALIA

HONIARA, Solomon Islands (January 1, 1997 - Radio Australia)---A new airline will begin flying between the Solomon Islands capital of Honiara and the northern Australian city of Cairns later this month.
King Solomon Airlines plans one round trip flight a week.
The airline is owned and operated by the Brisbane-based Island Hotel chain, which owns a number of properties in the Solomon Islands.
