PORT VILA, Vanuatu (April 29, 1998 - PACNEWS)---A Vanuatu-based company, Crest Limited, has won a contract to design, supply necessary facilities, and install a multi-channel television service in Kiribati.

Managing Director Geoff Kong says he believes the main reason his company was chosen for the job is his staff’s knowledge of the Pacific region, together with technical expertise and an ability to do things the "Pacific Way."

He says the pay TV system in Kiribati will offer viewers up to 20 separate channels, 24 hours a day.

The services most likely to be frequently watched, he said, are The Discovery Channel, sports, new release movies, family movies and a religious channel.
