SUVA, Fiji Islands (July 31, 1998 - PACNEWS/Tuqiri)---Fiji has been identified by the United Nations as among the top ten countries in the world for maintaining the worst child inoculation records.

The UN Progress of Nations report names Fiji as ninth worst country worldwide for discrepancies over immunization records.

The report says that if the governments listed in the top-ten report are truly concerned about the welfare of their children, they must make major improvements to their current immunization record-keeping systems.
