PAGO PAGO, American Samoa (October 9, 1998 - Samoa News/Amy)--- American Samoa under spent last year's budget by US$ 6.5 million, according to Governor Tauese Sunia.

Based on unofficial reports, the Governor said the government savings was based on the FY 1998 budget of US$ 173 million, which ended in September.
