PAGO PAGO, American Samoa (October 20, 1998 - Samoa News/Amy)--- American Samoa veterans are now eligible to travel free on military aircraft to Hawai‘i for Veterans Administration medical care, according to an announcement by Congressman Eni Faleomavaega.

U.S. President Bill Clinton recently signed the Department of Defense FY 1999 appropriation bill, which includes the free military transport provision.

"This will be of tremendous assistance to all our veterans, particularly our vets with service-related disabilities," Faleomavaega said.
