CALIFORNIA COMPANY SUING AMERICAN SAMOA FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT

PAGO PAGO, American Samoa - (November 6, 1998 - Samoa News)---California-based Commercial Design Corporation (CDC) is suing the American Samoa Government (ASG) in an effort to recover hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid bills allegedly owed to the company.

According to the CDC complaint filed with the High Court earlier this year, it alleges a breach of contract on ASG's part.

The company is seeking damages worth $350,000.

CDC was contracted by ASG through the Department of Education to build a $1 million-plus school lunch warehouse and cafeteria for Manulele Tausala Junior High School.
