MORE CHINESE NATIONALS ARRESTED FOR ILLEGAL FIJI GAMBLING

SUVA, Fiji Islands (January 5, 1999 - PACNEWS)---Police in Fiji have arrested another seven Chinese nationals for illegal gambling.

The arrests come just one day after police arrested 19 other Chinese nationals for gambling in a home in the capital, Suva. Police raided the home after a tip off.

A police spokesman said charges have not been laid in either of the two cases, but police are continuing investigations.

Illegal gambling equipment and money associated with the gambling arrests have been confiscated.
