PAGO PAGO, American Samoa (May 13, 1999 – Samoa News)---Government employees were greeted yesterday morning by local businessman Bill Hyman and supporters picketing the Executive Office Building (EOB) building in Utulei.

Hyman, owner of Island Business Center (iBC), picketed the EOB yesterday morning starting at approximately 8:15 a.m. Accompanying him were several iBC employees.

At the forefront of the demonstration was Hyman carrying a sign that declared that the American Samoa Government (ASG) owes him (and his company) $157,825 in back invoices that haven’t been paid. This is all federal grant money that has been diverted by ASG after being deposited in its general fund account.
