SIX FIJI ATHLETES SENT HOME FROM SOUTH PACIFIC GAMES

HAGÅTÑA, Guam (June 8, 1999 - PACNEWS/Radio Australia)---A group of six Fiji athletes have been ordered out of the South Pacific Games in Guam for breaking the no-alcohol policy and staying out past curfew.

Fiji team leader, John May withdrew their accreditation and ordered they leave on the next Air Nauru flight for Fiji.

He says the six allegedly drank alcohol after an open-air concert last night.
