Your story "Samoa book voted century's worst" was incomplete, to say the least.

The "Intercollegiate Studies Institute" is not the collection of academics which one might imagine from the name. It's a right-wing think tank. For more information about them, see their web site, www.isi.org.

Second, their claim about Margaret Mead being "hoodwinked" is highly controversial. They're probably relying on the work of Derek Freeman. Many people claim that Freeman is the one doing the hoodwinking -- I can point you to several articles on the subject if you'd like.

I think ISI "hoodwinked" you with an academic-sounding name and an authoritative-sounding list. Perhaps you could do some follow-up coverage on the opposing research?
