ALOFI, Niue (January 2, 2000 – Radio Australia)----The planned startup of Coral Air International this month to serve South Pacific points has been delayed once again due to the lack of an air services agreement with the Fiji government.

The airline, which has been designated Niue's national carrier, planned roundtrip flights to Fiji’s Nadi International Airport via Tonga, but Fiji’s Civil Aviation Ministry's has so far rejected the plan, agreeing only on a direct Niue - Nadi route.

A new startup date has not been announced.
