TONGA GETS NEW FREE WESLEYAN CHURCH COMPLEX

NUKU‘ALOFA, Tonga (January 6, 2000 - Radio Australia’s Pacific Beat)---The King of Tonga has officially opened a $1.7 million church and office complex for the Free Wesleyan Church.

It was the first official duty of the millennium for King Taufa‘ahau Tupou IV, a local preacher at the church.

All the departments of the Free Wesleyan Church will be located at the new complex.

It is comprised of three double story buildings, said the church’s Seone Fonua.
