ALOFI, Niue (June 9, 2000 - Niue Economic Review)---Business folk concerned over the delays in air freight and tourist seats available out of Auckland want the government to talk to Royal Tongan Airlines about a weekly dedicated flight in and out of Niue.

Members of the Chamber of Commerce support a move to encourage the airline to run non-stop flights between Auckland and Niue

Sources say Royal Tongan may be interested in a weekly Sunday flight out of Auckland arriving in Niue Saturday.

The designated flight would allow a full load of freight and mail and give tourism a boost by having 110 seats available for Niue passengers.

The government airlines advisory committee has been asked by the Chamber to start discussions with both parties.
