TO SPEAK AT DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION

In a first for Guam Democrats, Congressman Robert A. Underwood will take to the podium (between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Guam time, Friday, August 18, 2000) at the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles.

Congressman Underwood was invited to speak at the convention in his capacity as chairman of the Congressional Asia Pacific American Caucus, to address some of the issues of concern to the nation's Asian and Pacific American communities. The Congressman intends to use the opportunity also to make mention of Guam and the other insular territories.
