PORT MORESBY, Papua New Guinea (October 30, 2000 - The National/PINA Nius Online)---More than 40 tourists from Italy and Germany left Papua New Guinea on an Air Niugini flight for Singapore after having experiences they said they have never had in other parts of the world.

PNG Tourism Promotion Authority Chief Executive Officer Richard Kassman and his officers bid the tourists farewell at Jacksons International airport.

Italian tour leader Tiziana Eridani said: "It was an unbelievable experience. People did not beg us for money and children were especially very polite. They didn’t even touch us, unlike other countries we have been to."

Their 14-day tour took them to Mt. Hagen, Madang, Goroka, Tari and up the Sepik River on the Melanesian Explorer.
