PAGO PAGO, American Samoa (February 1`2, 2001 - Samoa News/PINA Nius Online)---Be mindful of what you wear and do in the main chamber of American Samoa's House of Representatives.

The House is strongly enforcing its dress code and etiquette policies, which include but are not limited to no smoking, no drinking and no eating in the chamber.

Except on Fridays or otherwise provided, male members have to wear a collar shirt with a tie and coat and female members must wear a puletasi or appropriate dress during sessions and committee hearings.

The Sergeant-at-Arms must attend House sessions and committee hearings in customary Samoan attire while all other staff, including clerks and pages, must either wear an appropriate puletasi or dress (for women) or a collar shirt with a tie (for men).
