TARAWA, Kiribati (March 29, 2001 - Radio Kiribati/PINA Nius Online)---Kiribati's Cabinet is preparing a report on the salary, entitlements and privileges to be given to the Kiribati High Commissioner and his staff in Suva.

However, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs David Yeeting said the Cabinet needs more time to make final the proposed structure.

A draft proposal was created following fact-finding research in Suva by a Foreign Affairs official.

The Kiribati High Commission in Suva -- the country's first overseas diplomatic mission -- will make use of office facilities at the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat.
