15 INDONESIAN NATIONALS DETAINED IN PALAU

KOROR, Palau (June 29, 2001 - Radio Australia)---Fifteen Indonesian nationals have been charged with unlawful fishing in Palau waters and the captain and crew have been detained.

A government marine officer said two tons of tuna were found aboard the vessel.

It is the second time this year that Indonesian fishermen have been caught fishing within Palau's exclusive economic zone (EEZ) without a license.
