Dear Sir,

I refer to the article titled 'Fiji kidney failure treatment is a bed to die in' by Brian Woodley

The sad aspect of all this is that Stan Ritova fully supported the collapse of a sophisticated medical system in Fiji by supporting incompetent leaders and coup makers since 1987. He has as much to blame for the current collapse of the medical facilities as Rabuka, Speight and their fellow travelers.

Many highly skilled medical personnel left Fiji because of the untenable situation created by the coup makers and their fellow travelers like Stan. Sophisticated equipment and facilities that should be operational in Fiji will not be available because the country was set back 20 years by the coups of 87 and another 20 years by the coups of 2000.

Yes Stan - The foreign flower you so highly despised in Fiji is providing sustenance for you in your hour of need.

All these modern facilities and equipment as well as trained personnel should have been Fiji but for the selfishness and incompetence of people like you.

Thank goodness your daughter had the guts and courage to help make all these available for you in Sydney.

Unfortunately the needy and poor of Fiji do not have the luxury to enjoy these privileges.
