40 PERCENT OF FIJI STUDENTS TRY ALCOHOL BEFORE AGE 10, REPORT SAYS

SUVA, Fiji Islands (January 2, 2002 - Daily Post/PINA Nius Online)---Forty percent of Fiji students taking part in a survey by the World Health Organization and the United Nations Children's Fund said they tried alcohol before the age of 10.

And 13 percent of those surveyed said they had tried one or two puffs of marijuana, said the report on substance use among adolescents.
