PAGO PAGO, American Samoa (January 24, 2002 – Radio Australia)---Weekly air cargo services between Honolulu and the American Samoa capital of Pago Pago have been restored.

Pacific Air Cargo, a Los Angeles based carrier, has announced that it has been able to fast track re-introduction of the cargo service because of a one-year contract with the U.S. Postal Service to carry mail from Honolulu to Pago Pago and Guam.

Pago Pago lost its air cargo link with Honolulu in December when Evergreen International suspended its South Pacific flights.
