PAPE‘ETE, French Polynesia (June 5, 2002 – Government of French Polynesia)---The Council of Ministers has authorized "Rangiroa Hélicoptères" to provide public air transport services for Rangiroa Atoll, in the northern part of the Tuamotu Islands.

The company plans to operate a Bell 206 B III helicopter, which can carry four passengers, along with the pilot, within a 690-kilometer (414-mile) radius.

Transporting tourists on tours or taking them to various Tuamtou Islands hotels will be the main activity of the company.

Other services will include transportation for residents, airfreight, medical evacuations and search at sea missions.
