APIA, Samoa (Oct. 9, 2002 - Samoa Observer/PINA Nius Online)---Samoa's Radio Polynesia celebrated its 13 years of existence by inviting the public to a market day.

The company started with one station, Magik FM, featuring news and music in both Samoan and English and providing an alternative to government-run 2AP's monopoly

Today it operates Magik FM 98.1, Talofa FM 96.1, 99.9 and K-Lite 101.1, each specializing in its own market

General Manager Cory Keil expressed delight at the public turnout at the celebrations.

Asked about Radio Polynesia’s future plans, Keil said the company hopes to extend its reach to more parts of the country.
