SECOND SUPPLY BOAT ARRIVES IN TIKOPIA

MELBOURNE, Australia (Radio Australia, Jan. 6) - A second boat has reached the island of Tikopia carrying relief supplies for residents affected by Cyclone Zoe.

The first boat to reach the island on Monday was enroute to the neighboring island Anuta, which has been isolated since the cyclone hit the area on Dec. 28.

The boats are carrying medical personnel and food and water supplies.

The Chief Executive of aid agency World Vision, Lynn Arnold, says the boat is expected to arrive in Anuta early on Tuesday morning.

"We hope that the same outcome has taken place on Anuta - that no one has died there," he said.
