MELBOURNE, Australia (Radio Australia, Mar. 20) - The Supreme Court of Palau has allowed a group of garment workers to take part in a civil lawsuit filed against the company Orientex Palau.

The workers want to secure a part of the proceeds of the sale of the company's assets after they were laid off as a result of Orientex's closure.

Earlier, about 200 Chinese workers of the garment factory went to the Division of Labour to complain about their unpaid salaries and demand return tickets from their employer.

The court has scheduled a public auction of the company's assets on March 25th to pay its creditors.
