FRENCH TENNIS STAR NOAH TO SING IN NOUMEA

SUVA, Fiji (Oceania Flash, ) - Frenchman Yannick Noah, a former
international tennis champ in the 1980s, now turned singer, arrived Wednesday in
New Caledonia.

Noah is to perform twice as part of an Asia-Pacific tour, RFO's
Télé-Nouvelle-Calédonie reports.

Noah began his career as a reggae singer 10 years ago and is in
the process of releasing his fourth album.

His performances, at Nouméa's Tjibaou Cultural Centre, are
reported to be sold out.
