NAURU’S FIRST POLITICAL PARTY FIELDS CANDIDATES
MELBOURNE, Australia (Radio Australia, April 18) - Nauru's first
political party, Naeoro Amo, has selected candidates for next month's general
election.
Pacific news service Pacnews, reports that party spokesman,
Ronald Kun, is confident that its six members will be elected to parliament, and
will push for a leadership change.
The former legal adviser to the President's Office and former
Member of Parliament, David Adeang, leads the party.
The party's membership also includes former civil servant and
women's advocate, Marlene Moses.
