ANGLICAN CLERICS HELD HOSTAGE ON GUADALCANAL

MELBOURNE, Australia (Radio Australia, May 8) – The Solomon
Islands National Peace Council says six clerics reported missing from an
Anglican church order are being held hostage by rebel leader Harold Keke.

The Council says it has received a report that six brothers of
the Church of Melanesia are alive on the Weather Coast.

Officials say a follower of rebel leader Harold Keke reported
the brothers alive after fleeing the camp.

No further details of their physical well-being was mentioned.

The six brothers were reported missing last week.
