DENGUE CLAIMS ANOTHER VICTIM IN NEW CALEDONIA

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (RNZI, May 30) - The dengue outbreak in
New Caledonia has claimed another life.

A 62-year old man from the main island’s west coast has died
in a Noumea hospital, raising the death toll of this year’s epidemic to
twelve.

A total of nearly 4,000 people have contracted the
mosquito-borne disease since January.
