MARSHALLS VOTERS REGISTER FOR NOVEMBER ELECTIONS

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (RNZI, June 2) - More than 10,000 people
in the Marshall Islands have registered as new voters or re-registered to vote
from a different island than in the 1999 election.

The Chief Electoral Officer, Hemly Benjamin has confirmed there
was a very large scale re-registration prior to the voter registration deadline.

The National election will be held on November the 17th with a
nearly 32-thousand people registered to vote.
