MELBOURNE, Australia (Radio Australia, Sept. 2) - The Pacific
Islands Forum Secretariat says China has agreed to provide US$300,000 over the
next three years, to fund the Secretariat's Petroleum Advisory Service.

The unit works with Island Countries to negotiate the best
possible deals in their petroleum agreements with suppliers.

The Petroleum Advisory Service's quarterly publication, the
Pacific Fuel Price Monitor, enables island countries to keep a check on fuel
prices throughout the region.
