TONGA PRIME MINISTER TO VISIT TROOPS IN SOLOMONS

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (RNZI, Nov. 6) - The Prime Minister of Tonga is to visit his country’s military and police personnel currently deployed in Solomon Islands.

Prince ‘Ulukalala Lavaka Ata will visit Tongans on Guadalcanal and Malu in the north of Malaita province.

The three-day visit, which starts on November 11, comes after similar trips made by the Australian and New Zealand leaders.

Sir Allan Kemakeza says the people of the Solomons appreciate Tonga’s support.

Sir Allan says the goodwill visit is a welcome gesture.
