THIRD OF STUDENTS SENT HOME AT MALAITA SCHOOL

HONIARA, Solomon Islands (SIBC, April 4) - More than 100 students – about one third of the student body at Adaua Secondary School in North Malaita - have been sent home for non-payment of school fees.

Principal of the school, Walter Mavaemua, on Friday revealed this to an SIBC reporter who visited the school.

Mr Mavaemua said when the students have their fees with them, they can return to school.

Adaua Secondary School has a total of about 300 students.
