NEW ZEALAND CAUTIONS TRAVELERS TO PNG

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (RNZI, May 31) - The New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has issued a new travel advisory regarding Papua New Guinea.

The advisory says New Zealanders in PNG should exercise a high level of personal security and vigilance at all times especially in public places frequented by foreigners.

The Ministry says there is also some possibility of terrorism.

New Zealanders are also being encouraged to record their details with the High Commission in Port Moresby.
