HONIARA, Solomon Islands (Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corp., Nov. 17) – Relatives of 10 Kwaio men who died on the Weather Coast of Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands are again calling on the government, the police and Australia’s Regional Assistance Mission Solomon Islands (RAMSI)to make public a report on the fate of the men.

East Kwaio man Delson Safa'a says the public and relatives of the victims have cooperated with the police and a parliamentary committee looking into the matter and they are looking forward to the cooperation of responsible authorities on the issue.

He says the Police and Parliamentary committee had completed their findings and the people of East Kwaio have been assured that the report will be tabled in Parliament.

But the report remains confidential.

Mr Safa'a says the delay is causing anxiety among relatives of those who had died.

He says the sooner the reports are made public and actions taken the easier will be for relatives to accept the fate of the 10 men.
