WELLINGTON, New Zealand (Radio New Zealand International, Jan. 30) – Samoa’s government plans to cut fuel prices because of an increased amount of stored petroleum.

The administration in Apia cited favorable global weather patterns and increased oil production by the OPEC cartel in announcing its fuel price cuts.

From February, the local retail price for a liter of petrol will drop by four percent.

The price of diesel is to go down by three percent.

And kerosene also drops three percent
