SUVA, Fiji (Fiji Times, July 7) – The Fiji Visitors Bureau has appointed International Destination Marketing (IDM) to manage its marketing and public relations activity in the United Kingdom and Irish markets over the next three years.

Chief Executive of the FVB, Viliame Gavoka, said that UK and Ireland are major markets for Fiji.

"From January to August 2004 this market provided 34,832 visitors to Fiji and we expect that figure to grow to 56,000 for the year ending 2004," he said. "That is why it is essential to have an organization of IDM's excellent reputation to provide these services.".
