The newspaper reported that Mr Liu, also a member of the Political Bureau and a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, answered some questions on the organisation and ideological theory of the CPC.

It said Mr Liu appreciated the PNG’s consistent adherence to the one-China policy.

The delegation was led by Don Polye, the party’s deputy leader (Highlands) and Minister for Transport and Civil Aviation.

Xinhuan said the delegation visited China at the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.

Meanwhile, Xinduan also reported in its July 19 online edition that the CPC hopes to further strengthen its friendly exchanges and cooperation with Papua New Guinean political parties.
