The leaders agreed on the term in their meeting at Denarau in Nadi on Tuesday.

Urwin's initial term was to expire at the end of the year.

He welcomed the confidence leaders had in him to reappoint him and was pleased with the development.

During this next term, Urwin said he would try to further implement the Pacific Plan, which he had started in its first year of implementation.

Qarase said the leaders had welcomed the considerable progress made in implementing the plan, especially when it was just the first year.
