FORMER CHIEFS COUNCIL CHAIRMAN GANILAU NAMED MINISTER

SUVA, Fiji (Fiji Times, Jan. 9) – Former army commander and Great Council of Chiefs chairman Ratu Epeli Ganilau has accepted the portfolio of interim Fijian Affairs Minister.

Speaking from Taveuni a short while ago, Ratu Epeli confirmed he had been offered the post and had accepted.
