AUCKLAND, New Zealand (NiuFM News, Sept. 12) - The 50,000 condoms imported to be distributed during the South Pacific Games were so popular, only a couple of hundred are left.

That's according to Samoa Aids Foundation project officer Nellie Wichtman.

The Samoa Aids Foundation was responsible for the distribution of the condoms and set up three booths for this purpose.

Wichtman says even though athletes were given a pack of six condoms, teams kept asking for more (listen).

She says they got mixed reaction from people coming to the booths. (listen)

Witchman says it was good to see people concerned about safe sex practices
