Agrees to provide website for Solomon Host

HONIARA, Solomon Islands (Solomon Star, March 23, 2009) – Our Telekom signs a two-year sponsorship and partnership agreement with the Solomon Host for Website hosting last Friday.

Speaking at the signing Telekom’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Loyley Ngira said the partnership was to support Solomon Host because anything involving Tourism is important to Our Telekom.

"We look forward to work closely with you for the two years of partnership and wishing us successful in our businesses."

Mr. Ngira said the partnership demonstrates support to locally-owned businesses who strive to be promoters of tourism development in Solomon Islands.

He said tourism has a big potential in the country therefore it must be realised because it’s very important for the economy.

Solomon Host’s CEO Joyce Maetoloa thanked Our Telekom for their generous assistance.

The partnership will greatly assist services they provide in promoting tourism in the country.

"We will promote you in all our events and we are looking forward to work in partnership with you," she said.

Mrs. Maetoloa said Solomon Host is very happy with the sponsorship because as a newly established business they really appreciate such support.

The sponsorship package includes costs of website hosting, ADSL services and mobile phones.
